Ce roman, retraduit par mes soins, doit paraître en janvier 2011 à Asphalte éditions (asphalte-editions.com) sous un titre qui reste à trouver.

Le titre, c'est tout simplement Chiens fous.

I enjoyed the English translation of Mad Dogs & Co. as I had the great pleasure of meeting and getting to know the protagonist Ot and several other of his friends. I currently remain in touch with Piak and Thurd via Facebook, and would like to visit them in the near future. It is not until page 302 where Ot's story and my journey through Thailand intersect, and occurred at the Cinzano Shop in the Lido Theatre. My poor grasp of the Thai language did not enable me to understand the finer details of what was going on in the lives of my friends, and I was grateful to get a better understanding by reading Chart's retelling of Ot's story. Along with many other friends, Ot, Piak and Thurd made my time in Thailand (12 months in total over 3 visits) thoroughly enjoyable, very comfortable, and highly memorable, and I am grateful for the friendship they offered me during the time I was there.
